Your data, your call
Delete your account
You can delete your Memoroam account yourself, at any time, without asking us. This page explains how, what gets destroyed, and what to do if you cannot sign in.
Deleting from the app
- Open Memoroam and go to Profile
- Tap the settings cog
- Choose Delete Account
- Type DELETE to confirm
Deletion happens immediately. It is permanent, there is no grace period, and it cannot be undone or recovered by you or by us.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the email address on the account. We verify the request against that address and respond within one month, or within 45 days if you are in California.
What deletion destroys
Permanently, with no recovery:
- Your trips, itineraries and travel history
- Your photos and memories, including the original uploads
- Your passport, stamps, stickers and everything else you collected
- Your Starlight balance and transaction history
- Your friend connections
- Your profile and sign-in credentials
Virtual items are forfeited when you delete your own account, and no refund is due for them, except where your statutory rights say otherwise.
What does not get deleted
If you have contacted our support team, the ticket itself is kept after deletion, but with your name, email address, and message replaced by "[deleted]". Nothing personal about you sits anywhere else: since August 2026 our internal support channel receives only a ticket reference, never your name, email, or message. We may also keep limited records where the law requires it. Our support team can tell you what is held against your address.
Deleting individual items instead
You do not have to delete everything. Individual trips, memories, notes and highlights can each be removed in the app at any time, leaving the rest of your account intact.
